Pianetta Winery

Pianetta is a small family-owned and operated Winery with a tasting room in the heart of downtown Paso Robles. Pianetta opened their tasting room in 2006, and is now the oldest tasting room in downtown.

After generations of family farming in California, Pianetta is rooted in the concept “farmers who make wine,” with an emphasis on 100% site-specific varietals. This approach highlights the vineyard itself resulting in a more fruit-driven and flavorful wine.  There is heavy emphasis placed on high quality in a casual atmosphere.

Pianetta’s estate vineyard lies just north of Paso Robles in the Historic Mission area of San Miguel, producing Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. Several other varietals are sourced from other local vineyards along the Central Coast with a focus on farming methods and location. You will find Italian, Bordeaux, and Rhone varietals as well as few distinct blends. Each wine is carefully hand-crafted to showcase the terroir and varietal characteristics.
