Nathan became fascinated with wine and fermentation science at an early age. As a boy, he was introduced to growing and homemade winemaking at his family’s farm in rural South Carolina. Nathan has planted an extensive array of fruits, vegetables, as well as planted and maintain large-scale crops. While attending medical school in Charleston, his love for wine grew. He decided to hang up the white coat and move to Napa Valley.
This love and dedication led Nathan to become a winemaker, now in Templeton, he has launched his company—INNATE WINES. He diligently strives to let each grape express their INNATE attributes and characteristics through native fermentations with zero additions and subtractions during the winemaking process. In every bottle of INNATE WINES you truly are tasting zero manipulated 100 percent single varietal, single vineyard grapes fermented with care presented to you bottled unfined and unfiltered.
