Here are the top 14 sparkling wines in downtown Paso’s Downtown Wine District!
1. Alamar
Alamar Wines crafts a small-lot sparkling Blanc de Blanc that captures the vibrant fruit, refreshing bubbles, and sunny character of California’s Central Coast. It’s made in the traditional French style (just like in Champagne, France), and it has delicate bubbles and a yeasty nose. Plus, Alamar has their own riddling rack right in Downtown Paso Robles – the only one!

2. Bushong Vintage Co.
Bushong makes sparkling Gewürztraminer in the classic Champagne method with grapes are from the Adelaida district. The wine is aged en tirage, meaning on the yeast and lees (grape matter that is leftover from fermentation). This Bubbly has a fuller body plus yeasty aromas, which blends with the fun, aperitif style of the Gewürztraminer grape. Watch for his next release of Sparkling Wine, available in the tasting room.
3. CaliPaso Winery
CaliPaso strives to be an authentic Italian experience in Paso Robles, including bringing in Prosecco DOC from Italy. DOC means Denominazione di Origine Controllata or designation of controlled origin, and is the second-highest quality level of Prosecco in Italy – Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto. In other words, it’s the real deal.

12. Seven Oxen
Seven Oxen’s Pét-Nat captures the winery’s roots with bright, naturally sparkling freshness, lively acidity, and vibrant fruit character. Crafted from organically farmed Paso Robles fruit, this playful sparkler offers an authentic expression of the estate vineyard and the rustic charm that makes Pét-Nat wines so captivating.
13. Tank Garage Winery
Tank Winery first opened in an actual garage in Napa Valley, with the aim of celebrating rebels, punk rock, and California dreamin’. Now open in downtown Paso Robles in a historic garage, they showcase their fun labels, unique and rare blends, and never-to-be-drank again bottles (they never make the same wine twice). Ever the innovators, the folks at Tank Garage know how to have fun, especially with their Sparkling Pét Nats. The lastest one is Sex Picnic, a Pét-Nat Sparkling Rosé of mostly Grenache. We also loved previous versions Hella Fresh and Skateland. And don’t miss their secret VIP room.

14. Wine Boss
The cool Wine Boss wine bar is all about crafting wines for reggae rock bands like Rebelution, blending music and wine for a one-of-a-kind experience. The tasting room boasts an art deco, speakeasy-inspired vibe, offering a cozy and welcoming space to relax.
